The Riviera Business Club is the only English speaking business networkclub open to all nationalities at the French Riviera. Our events are open to members and non-members.

The benefits of the membership
Networking
- You become an integral part of an established and active business-oriented network of like-minded English speaking people with a presence here in the French Riviera & Monaco.
- RBC Membership can be cited as a form of recognition thereby giving newer or expanding businesses an additional stamp of credibility.
- Members also tap into an expanding wider network of different Chambers of Commerce and Industry through relationships and recognition which is being put into place in 2009.
Discounts and PromotionsThe RBC has purpose-made and easy-to-use facilities that enables its members to exchange favourable offers and promotions between each other (1). For example:
- You will receive regular special offers of discounted rates for goods and services from other members at discounted rates
- You are able to publish - at no cost - on the RBC web site special "fellow member" discounts that increase awareness and generate business opportunities. One example of these valuable offers is a special member discount rate of 10% for advertising in the Riviera Times.
- You will have access to both send and receive such promotions via various effective mediums such as the RBC web site, access to emails and at RBC events.
Events
- You will be invited to attend each of the regular RBC events throughout the year where great effort is made to provide themes and a convivial atmosphere ideally suited for networking, building business, sharing of ideas or even seeking advice.
- You will be entitled to attend events at a reduced rate, typically 10€ per event.
- You will be able to distribute your organisation's promotional materials and offers at any RBC
event (2)
- Attendees will receive much sought after "Golden Lists" of those who attended each event
(name, email address etc.)
Web Site and Communications
- You have access to a purpose-built web site that forms a powerful exchange medium between members.
- You will be able to publish and edit contact details as well as information about your services and offerings.
- Special offers, such as a "spring discount" can be quickly and easily published and made available to other members.
Increased Visibility
- You will be able to publish information about you and your organisation on the BCC web site; a highly visible site receiving thousands unique visitors per month as well have, through this site, a high Google search ranking making it even easier for your potential clients to find your business.
Sponsorship Opportunities
- Members are afforded opportunities to sponsor or "partner" the RBC events and other occasions centred around BCC members
- Members will also benefit from the reciprocal press and publicity that is actively generated about RBC events and membership activity.
Seeking and Offering Specialist Advice or Services
- Members with specialist services, knowledge and experience of possible interest and relevance to RBC members are encouraged to come forward and offer to make their own presentation at one of the RBC events (3)
- You will be able to tap directly into a rich and valuable source of experience that is offered by other members.
- Members with specialist knowledge or services are encouraged to welcome approaches by other members for advice or guidance, often resulting in the forging of business opportunities and relationships.
Eligibility to enter into RBC Competitions and Draws
- Each member can enter or be nominated for recognition at key events such as the "Riviera Business Person of the Year"; a prestigious Award given at a well-attended prize-giving event that is widely publicised throughout the area.
A Say in The Running of the Association
- As a not-for-profit organisation run by members for members, all members are kept informed on key issues concerning the running of the association as well as encouraged to participate by giving their "voice" on matters that affect or might interest members, such as themes for
events or other ideas that will serve the wider interests of the association's members.
- Members are given the right to attend and vote at key events such as the Annual General Meeting wherein nomination of the Committee (annually) members takes place.
Notes: (1) The Riviera Business Club is a non-commercial organisation and, as such, can not be seen to provide direct financial benefits to its members otherwise its status as an association under the relevant French law renders it liable for tax. Accordingly, all promotions etc., while facilitated by the RBC , must occur between members and not be made by the RBC itself. The RBC acts as messenger, facilitator and intermediairy, but not direct contributor. (2) The responsibility to distribute (and remove unused) physical promotional items such as flyers or brochures remains with the member(s) concerned. The BCC may provide a suitable location for such items to be collected from, but can not undertake to physically hand-out any items concerned,(3) Please approach any of the committee members should you wish to be considered as the presenter at any future RBC event.
